Sarah Genfoud

My name is Sarah Genfoud, and I’m a young mom of four. I welcomed my oldest child just after completing my final exams in sophomore year of college. Our homeschooling journey began during the COVID pandemic, when I recognized the shortcomings of the education system. This experience also deepened my understanding of my role as a mother; I realized that being a mom goes beyond caretaking. I aim to raise children with a strong Muslim identity and equip them to become future leaders for our Ummah. We’ve learned a great deal along the way, adopting an eclectic homeschooling style that emphasizes history and global studies. Homeschooling has been a meaningful experience in our home as we grow and learn alongside each other.
